RIPsandiegochargers.com is LIVE

As a born & raised San Diegan, my loyalty is not for sale.  I am still a football fan, but I am currently an NFL nomad with no home team.  My gear is the sickest around and I spent a sizeable amount of time and money collecting my shit so burning was not an option.

I have coordinated uniforms for entire divisions of safety services here in San Diego and with the amount of props I received last year; this was a no-brainer.  I get stopped everywhere asking where they can get this gear.  Well, now it is available @ www.RIPsandiegochargers.com

My team was ripped from my hometown by some cheap-ass carpetbaggers looking to make a quick buck, but they can’t steal my San Diego pride!

DON’T BE A SELLOUT!

LA Chargers Employ Racist Twitter Trolls!

STAY CLASSY LOS ANGELES CHARGERS! It has been reported & documented that John & AG Spanos have hired several “Troll Banks” in Tijuana to try and sway public opinion in favor of the LA Chargers.  It worked for the GOP, why not the Chargers?

The #NFL is apparently okay with this since it has allowed the LA Chargers to antagonize its fan-base of 56 years and this is what they are paying for!  I doubt the @NFL even knows what this Dipshit Ownership Group is doing but I’m sure they will learn about it like they did with Ray Rice.  Shit is serious and not okay!

I give the Spanos lots of “Prick Points” on this endeavor!  “Prick Points” are mythical points you earn for being a complete and utter Douche-bag.  Not only did they hire truly pathetic and offensive #NFL trolls to attack San Diego fans on Twitter & Facebook; they doubled down and hired racists and antisemites!

It is one thing to troll your fans and try to sway public opinion, but the fact that the #NFL and #Twitter do not have their own police force regulating this “hate-speech” and “paid advertising without disclosure” is really alarming.

BREAKING: Spanos Can’t Afford Bosa, Spent His Bonus on Carson Stadium Site

Occam’s Razor is a line of reasoning that says the simplest answer is often correct.

IMG_0069

“I’ll tell you what (they) paid for the land, it was $20 million,” Roggin said on the Scott and BR show. “The (Carson) mayor told me that. $20 million for 11 acres.” – Link

Say what you want but it is the only logical conclusion with league precedent set with all draft picks for 2016!  The 4th, 5th, 6th, AND 7th pick of the draft all receive way more than 50 percent of their bonus upfront. And every single 3rd overall pick since the CBA setting rookie contracts, has received EITHER 100 percent of the bonus upfront or, most of their bonus upfront and the off set language taken out.

The fact that the Chargers have lost this negotiation has not set in yet.  Perhaps the realization that an #NFL investigation in to the Chargers’ organizational finances will make them perk up a bit which is undoubtedly coming if this does not get resolved soon.  The NFL created new ownership rules for team owner’s families specifically because Bud Adams left the Titans to his family that is not suited to run an NFL franchise.  It is a high probability that the  NFL will conduct an investigation in to one of it’s 32 franchises if they are the only team since the creation of the new CBA to not get a deal done in a timely manner.

There is only one logical explanation…. The Spanos Family ownership cannot afford Joey Bosa.

The other logical explanation is that the Spanos family is not logical which would explain the 38 years of pain inflicted on me by this fucking family and their inexplicable fucking decisions from keeping AJ over Marty to signing Larry Fucking English!  Fuck you Spanos!

LARRY FUCKING ENGLISH FUCKER!

BOSA Development… of our Defense!

IMG_0069

This is the first draft I have really liked since we got Shawne Merriman and co.  There was a lot of underlying strategy to this draft from drafting Bosa’s teammate, Joshua Perry to drafting the 2015 MAC Defensive Player of the Year who was also a three time first-team All-MAC selection in order to bolster our LB depth.  DEEP… finally!  Let’s just hope we can make it through the pre-season healthy.

Wattage

In addition to the Defensive additions, I like the fact that we brought in an NFL pedigree FB in Derek Watt who was Melvin Gordon’s teammate and lead blocker in college.  Oh yeah, he’s JJ Watt’s brother and they will face each other this year.  We also brought in a BIG offensive lineman in the 7th round, Donovan Clark.  We also drafted the best TE in this year’s draft who didn’t drop a pass last year… that probably means he’ll drop several crucial passes for us this year if you believe in the “San Diego curse” which is essentially; “We have beautiful weather, great people, and awesome beer so our sports teams are doomed to ultimately fail because we can’t have everything and other cities are not blessed with our amenities so the fairness gods throw them a bone and let them have some trophies.”  San Diegans ultimately come out on top in the long run even though we are usually heartbroken until the next wave of sunshine and swells come through.

GO BOLTS!

NFL says, “Bye Felicia to Spanos Family”

LEARN TO SPEAK ENGLISH!

shapeimage_3-5“You are not big time Spanos family and therefore you do not get LA!”

Before I start this article… LARRY FUCKIN’ ENGLISH! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Fuck you AJ Smith & John Spanos!

Blame it on the rain, the horrible ownership decisions regarding coaches and GM’s, or the terrible business decisions made by this family more often than a broken record… heck even a broken clock is right twice a day!  The Chargers’ floundering ways have now metastasized to official NFL business ruining the Spanos’ post-season like their shitty decisions have ruined the fans’ post seasons for the past decade.

It seems pretty apparent that the NFL owners were hesitant on calling it quits on a vibrant fanbase that’s been alienated and harassed by this asshole ownership after 55 years in San Diego.  Dean Spanos sat idly by while Antonio Gates was benched in a home opener after a career season so AJ Smith could say he was the boss.  He did the same thing after Vincent Jackson had a career year… missed the playoffs by 1 game but Vincent missed 15 that season due to a pissing contest with AJ Smith.  Spanos also let AJ Smith(Lord of No Rings) run Drew Brees, Darren Sproles, Junior Seau, Rodney Harrison, John Carney, and Donnie Edwards out of town.  All of whom set records, won super bowls, or did something better once out of the Spanos’ Chargers’ clutches.  Great… really stoked for New Orleans and New England on their Super Bowls while SD still has none.  How’d that work out for you dean? Idiot!

When you put it to paper; JESUS! The Spanos family couldn’t try to be this bad at owning a franchise.Dean Clown car  If it weren’t for Philip Rivers, this franchise would be the Jags or Browns of the West Coast… The Jags were actually better than the Bolts this year. =/  It is just astonishing that the Chargers have fucked up sooo badly in drafts and other football business.  It is NOT astonishing however that people outside of the Spano’s clown-car noticed.  I am going to assume that most of these NFL owners are savvy business people where their dad did not hand them the business.  This leads me to conclude that most of them realize LA is too important to the NFL to let Tommy Boy aka Dean Spanos bring his bumblin’ fumblin’ circus up north.

One could even argue that the Spanos family had been planning this shittiness so San Diego wouldn’t build them a stadium here so they could eventually move up north.  The problem with that theory, is that it makes the Spanos family out to be cunning and savvy combined with having foresight.  So we can write that theory off.  Trust me, these people aren’t breaking the brain-bank.  So at the end of the day, the NFL looked at their track record of doing meaningful & important shit in a business that revolves around “execution” and the answer was, “No thanks Chargers!”.  The Spanos family has an out if San Diego fumbles going forward, but this is the NFL’s version of Bye Felicia!

Freeney Hoping For A Healthy 2014 Season

Article by: Robert Calfee

Just about everyone would agree that the San Diego Chargers exceeded expectations in the 2013 NFL season. There were very few people who thought they would be able to make the playoffs, but Philip Rivers turned in a very good statistical season to help them have team success. The future is now bright for San Diego, as they feel like they should be even better in 2014 with a healthy roster. One guy in particular who could really help the defense is Dwight Freeney. The team was not considered a very good pick up in fantasy football on defense last year, but he will add a bit more stability to the linebacker position.

At age 34, Freeney is on the decline. He last made the Pro bowl in 2011, and he hasn’t been a first-team All-Pro since the 2009 year. However, that does not mean he can’t contribute at a high level for San Diego. Not only that, but his leadership role in the locker room could help as well.

Freeney was only able to play in four games last year due to a quadriceps tear. He had to spend the offseason getting back into NFL shape. In the preseason, he has flashed signs of being 100%, and that is perfect for a San Diego team that would love to be more ferocious on defense.

When it comes to talk, Freeney has certainly been doing some of that so far in the preseason. In fact, he has gone on record saying that he feels like this team could be a Super Bowl contender by the end of the year. Any team that makes the playoffs in the NFL has a shot, and this team looks to be more balanced than ever. No one has been able to really get a good look at what this team looks like with Freeney contributing at a high level, so maybe San Diego was only scratching the surface a year ago. If Rivers and the offense can put up solid fantasy football numbers, Freeney could anchor a defense ready to challenge Denver and Kansas City for divisional supremacy.
